Louis Szekely known as "Louis C.K." was born on September 12, 1967 in Washington, D.C. He is an Mexican-American stand-up comedian, television and film writer, actor, producer and director. His the son of Luis Szekely a native Mexican economist and Mary Louise a Hungarian-Jewish software engineer, Louis first language is Spanish and he has a Mexican citizenship. He grew up in Newton Massachusetts from the age of 10, when his parents divorced, and stayed there until he moved to Manhattan in 1989.
Louis has performed his stand up on shows such as "Late Night with David Letterman", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". In 2005, he starred in a half-hour HBO special and the next year he starred in his own one-hour HBO special titled Shameless. In 2008 Louis recorded his own stand up special "Chewed Up", in the same year went nominated for an Emmy Award for "Outstanding Writing in a Comedy or Variety Special".
