Eddie Murphy was born in Brooklyn in 1961. Because he grown up in the streets of NY, his first steps was on impressions and stand-up routines. From the age of 15 he was writing and performing his own routines, eventually he made it to The Comic Strip Club in Manhattan.There the co-owners of the club, Robert Wachs and Richard Tienken, were amazed with Murphy's abilities, and they sent Murphy to the audition for the revamped "Saturday Night Live" (1975). Eventually he took the role as a featured player and that was the starting point of his successful career. His debut movie was "48 Hrs", (1982), alongside Nick Nolte. Eddie Murphy acted in many movies, with most notable, the Beverly hills Cop I, II, III, Nutty Professor, Doctor Doolittle, Pluto Nash.
